Accessibility
RankPrep should work for every candidate, on every device. Here is what we do, where we fall short, and how to tell us about a barrier.
Effective October 18, 2026
1.Our Commitment
Candidates prepare on different devices, with different abilities, and often on limited time. RankPrep aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA across the public website and the study workspace. This statement describes our goals and practices. It is not a certification or a formal conformance claim.
2.What We Do
- Pages use a logical heading structure, landmarks, and a skip link to the main content.
- Forms have visible labels, describe errors in text, and can be completed with a keyboard.
- The exam directory, filters, menus, and question controls work without a mouse.
- Focus is always visible, and status is never conveyed by color alone.
- Text and controls are designed to meet AA color contrast against their backgrounds.
- Layouts reflow down to small phone widths and support browser zoom to 200 percent.
- Animation is reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives. Decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
3.How We Test
We review pages with keyboard-only navigation, automated accessibility checks, browser zoom, and mobile screen sizes, and we spot-check with screen readers. New features are reviewed against the same checklist before they are released.
4.Known Limitations
- The study workspace is in early access, and some features are still being reviewed.
- Placeholder photography on marketing pages is decorative and will be replaced.
- Linked third-party resources, such as official agency announcements and documents, are outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
5.Practice Accommodations
If you need a different format to study, such as extended time on practice exams or a text-only version of content, tell us and we will work with you. Accommodations for an official examination must be requested from the administering authority. RankPrep cannot arrange them.
6.Report a Barrier
If something on RankPrep is hard to use, use the contact form and choose Technical problem. Include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser, or assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within two business days.
