RankPrep is an independent examination preparation platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or acting on behalf of any police department, fire department, state police agency, civil service commission, human resources division, union, or government body.

This includes the Massachusetts State Police and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Agency names, examination titles, and ranks are used only to identify the examination a candidate is preparing for. Naming an agency is not a partnership or an endorsement.

2.Not Official Examination Material

RankPrep questions are written for practice. They are not questions from an official examination, and RankPrep does not have access to official examination content.

Study categories shown on an examination page are RankPrep's organization of the material. They are not an official syllabus or reading list unless the page states that they have been verified against an official announcement.

3.Dates, Eligibility, and Announcements

Exam dates, eligibility requirements, administering authorities, application deadlines, and outlines are shown only when they have been verified. If a field says a date is not announced or a fact is not verified, that is intentional. Always confirm details with the administering authority. Countdowns and dates shown in product examples are samples.

4.No Guarantee of Results

RankPrep does not guarantee a passing score, a place on an eligible list, a ranking, or a promotion. A practice result measures performance on RankPrep material only. RankPrep does not present any figure as a validated prediction of an official result.

5.Not Legal Advice

Explanations of statutes, regulations, case law, policies, collective bargaining agreements, and procedures are study aids. They are not legal advice and do not create an attorney-client relationship. Laws and policies change. For operational or legal decisions, rely on the current official source and your agency's guidance.

6.Accuracy and Corrections

We work to keep content accurate and to cite the source a keyed answer relies on, but errors and outdated material can occur. If something looks wrong, challenge the question in the workspace or contact us and choose Question or content issue.

7.Names and Trademarks

Agency names, seals, and other marks belong to their respective owners. RankPrep does not use agency seals, badges, or patches, and any reference to an agency is descriptive only.
